DECEMBER 2008  Little Patriots Embraced's Holiday Adoption

 DECEMBER 2008 - With the combined efforts of Heartland Bank, Ameristar Casino, Hope Church, and MedTronic; LPE had its most successful Holiday Adoption yet!!  Heartland Bank had a fantastic Toy Drive that started in November.  Ameristar Casino did a "giving tree" for their employees.  Hope Church did a "giving tree" for their congregation. And MedTronic had a holiday party for their employees where they brought presents and donations for our military families.  These donations were given not only to the individual families that were adopted this year but also taken to Scott AFB to be distributed to other military families in need by the Airman and Family Services and also to the Youth Center on base.
